1. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to use Chime. You are responsible for activity performed using your account.
2. Using the service
Use rooms, shared lists and direct messages lawfully and respectfully. Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, defraud, spam or expose another person's private information without permission. Do not upload content that is unlawful or violates another person's rights. You can report users or content and block other accounts.
3. Your content
You retain rights you hold in content you submit. You give Chime permission to store, display and transmit that content as needed to operate the features you use and show it to the intended audience described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Safety
Chime provides user reporting, blocking and room-owner controls.
5. Picks and gifts
Picks are in-app virtual items with no cash value and are not transferable outside Chime. Picks are consumable: already credited balances are held in your Chime account, rather than restored as a new grant by the store.
6. Sign-out and account deletion
You can sign out at any time. Using Delete Account in the app prevents you from signing in to that account again.
